My Life Outside OCD

Your OCD does not define you. Your life and your OCD are separate and it's important to understand you are not your OCD. You are you :)

My Dad

This is my Dad. He is like a superhero Dad. We weirdly have the same exact sense of humor. Apparently the first born daughter is the female version of her father. Makes sense.

My Mom

This is my momma. The queen herself. Everyone says we look alike. Everyone also says we look like Sandra Bullock. Both are compliments.

Lucas

This is my brother. He's alright I guess... just kidding. He's the best. He made me a college survival guide before I left for school. Big brother award!

Thomas

This is Mr. Thomas Smith... aka the best boyfriend a girl could ask for. His biggest flaw is probably that he doesn't like when I drink Diet Coke. Other than that he's pretty great.

Pey

This is one of my best friends who coincidentally also happens to be my brother's girlfriend. How did that happen Luke? Love you Pey!

Alexandra

This is my best friend Alexandra. Truly the best friend I could ever ask for. I never understood the best friend hype until I met her (which was at our local Panera btw).

Hank & Lily

These are my pups! Hank and Lily (otherwise known as Pankers & Lils). By far the BEST form of therapy when you need company. Don't let them on the bed though. Hank sleeps on your feet and Lily will sleep on your face.

My Family

This is my extended family (with the exception of Aunts and Uncles). Only 1 of them knew the extent of my OCD.

To Allie: thank you for being the sister I never had and always giving me an opportunity to speak my mind.

To the rest of you: I love you guys, and I hope you're able to understand me a little bit better than you did before. FOE.

P.S. I'm turning 20 in less than 3 months. It's time to stop calling me the baby of the family...
